An uncontrolled car fell 200 feet deep near Hocha Kanthi on Link Road, Ramban, 15 km from the district headquarters, at around 9 pm on Thursday. Two people, including the driver, died on the spot in the accident.

Nearby people reached the spot and started the rescue work after informing the police. The children inside the car had flown and the bodies were lying in the ditch. Late night attempts were made to bring dead bodies on the road. According to the information, Surjit Singh (43), R/o Kanthi Ramban and Taneshwar Singh (23), R/o Kumekh Rajgarh, were going from Kanthi towards Garhi by car. It was raining lightly. Meanwhile, the car went uncontrolled near Hotha Kanthi on Link Road and the car fell into 200 feet deep ditch. Locals reached the spot on  getting the information about the incident.
